Charcoal clouds innundate
The daylight, their smokey dust
A blanket of densest grey
No sun, no light
Yet, I know it's day
I woke to an auburn glow
Breathed in the stifling heat
Of dueling fronts
Static pops, lightening bolts
Thunders cry and steady
Curtains of rain all part
Of mother natures melting tensionS
